“I believe there’s a serious messaging gap between libertarianism and Black communities,” Davis tells us. “If anyone knows the horrors of big government, it’s us. I hope that by sharing at least one of our stories, viewers will be inspired to do more Black outreach.”
In this video, Davis shares the story of Jefferson Street, a historically black neighborhood in North Nashville.

Black Americans “have always been targeted by big government,, and racists within that government who continue to steal our lives, our liberty, and our property,” says Davis in her video. “We fight for our agency, and our civil liberties, and we share our stories. For too long, Black history has been suppressed, rewritten, and forgotten in the mainstream. But our grandparents protected our history by sharing it with us, and now, we honor the experiences and sacrifices of our ancestors by sharing those stories with you.”
