Feminists for Liberty is ringing in the new year and the new administration with a look at where libertarian feminism fits in today’s political spectrum and what opportunities and challenges this presents. Join us on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 7 p.m. for a chat with “Reformist Libertarian” journalist Shikha Dalmia, writer and Daily Kos Comms Director Carolyn Fiddler, and anarchist activist Brianna Coyle. The panel will be moderated by Feminists for Liberty’s Kat Murti & Elizabeth Nolan Brown and followed by a brief Q&A. Register here.
Can libertarian feminists form alliances across the political spectrum? What about libertarians more broadly? How did libertarian-right fusionism happen and is there still a place for it? What benefits and barriers are there for libertarians to working with “the left” (and what does that even mean)? Is there room for spreading libertarian ideas in those realms? Working toward common policy goals? And where do we start?
We’ll discuss these questions and more next week.
